Tenasserims

The Tenasserim is one of the largest forest landscapes in South East Asia. On the Thailand side, it is well protected with 21 protected areas crossing an area of about 30,000 sq.km. It comprises two major forest tracks Western Forest Complex (WEFCOM) 18,000 sq.km. and Kaeng Kranchan Forest Complex (KKFC) 9,000sq.km. which are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
