Cada año en antes de la época de incendios forestales en Honduras se realiza la construcción de rondas en la microcuenca Rio Cimarrón con el objetivo de prevenir el avance de los incendios que se dan en el sitio y controlar los mismo, mencionar que esto lo hace el concejo de microcuenca en conjunto con las juntas de agua que pertenece a el.
