Implementación de la Lista Verde en Chile
Desde el Programa Austral Patagonia se ha impulsado un componente de trabajo específico enfocado al desarrollo de indicadores de gestión y a la implementación de procesos de evaluación de las Áreas Silvestres Protegidas del Estado, (ASPE) para identificar aquellos aspectos que requieren ser fortalecidos, tanto a nivel de ASPE individual como a nivel sistémico, para mejorar la gestión y llevarla hacia estándares internacionales. Se identificó al Estándar Lista Verde como una referencia obligada para la definición de estándares en la gestión de las ASPE. Durante el 2020, en el marco del Programa Austral Patagonia, y en conjunto con la Gerencia de Áreas Silvestres Protegidas de CONAF y la Oficina de UICN para América del Sur, se desarrolló una experiencia piloto de autoevaluación de cumplimiento del Estándar Lista Verde por parte de 24 unidades integradas en la Red de Parques de la Patagonia y en los Grandes Parques Bicentenario. Como resultado de este proceso, se identificaron aquellas unidades que podrían formalizar su aplicación al proceso Lista Verde en el corto plazo.
