| Descripción | Feminist Climate Action in West Africa by Inter Pares and Solidarité Union Coopération (SUCO) The project supports rural women and youth to adapt to climate change in ecologically sensitive coastal and island regions in Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal and Togo. The project aims to improve agro-ecological practices and ecosystem rehabilitation, as well as the economic power of women and youth through appropriate technologies and local marketing. The project supports the participation of youth to ensure the sustainability of learning and good practices, while strengthening their role in promoting gender equality, climate action and biodiversity protection. Project activities include: (1) training to improve knowledge on climate policies and biodiversity; and (2)providing technical and financial support to strengthen climate-resilient agroecological practices (micro-livestock, agroforestry, market gardening, beekeeping and oyster farming) and the provision of solar and energy-efficient equipment. https://w05.international.gc.ca/projectbrowser-banqueprojets/project-projet/details/p011764001 |
