Nature Research Society

Nature Research Society (DAD) was founded in 1998 as the Bird Research Society by ornithologists and bird watchers to conserve Turkey's avian fauna and habitats. It was established for unifying four key elements of nature conservation: research, protection, policy formulation, and education. As our scope of work and expertise broadened over time, we underwent a transformation in 2011, revising our vision and mission, and adopting the name Nature Research Society. Since then, our focus has extended to cover all species and habitats. We actively engage in capacity building, developing tools, and foster collaboration with stakeholders and partners at both national and international levels.
