Center for Environment and Community Research
Center for Environment and Community Research (CECR), founded in 2009, is an NGO under Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), with the aim to advocate for policy development for clean water, community participation and ecosystem approach in conservation of biodiversity and environmental protection. The Center has 6 fulltime staff and a network of experts of wide range of specific areas include water and wetland management, environmental management, biodiversity, pollution management, institutional specialists, environmental goverment, M & E, community and gender experts, media and communication. The Center works with NGOs, governmental institutions, universities on researches related to clean water, water and wetland management, biodiversity conservation, and environmental protection.
